Roop Narayan Mathur – Birth

Roop Narayan Mathur (Bauji) was born in Kishangarh, Rajasthan on 1st July 1913.  Son of Kishan Swaroop Mathur.  Brother to 3 wonderful sisters.

Married to Bhanwari Devi Mathur of Jaipur.

Roop Narayan Mathur – Education

Completed his education in Kishangarh, Rajasthan.

Qualified as a Science graduate (B.Sc) and then went on to hold dual masters degrees – Master of Arts and Master of Commerce.   Topped it up with a law degree (LL.B).  |||  (3 generations have failed to beat that !)

An ambitious young man, he set out to chart his destiny first in Kolkatta (Calcutta), West Bengal.  Worked with India’s leading business house – the G.D.Birla group.

Subsequently moved to Kalyan, Maharashtra and worked as a public prosecutor there.

After this, he settled in the area now known as Vidyavihar, Ghatkopar (was then the village of Kirol).  Established a very successful legal advisory practice in Fort, Mumbai.   His client roster included many businesses, the most prominent being the Birla group.
